The nearest house in Darling to the Renosterveld Reserve, on a hill overlooking our delightful village, Daisyfield offers tranquillity, comfort, attractive surroundings, delicious breakfasts and a warm welcome from owners Barbara and John. We are in walking distance of the village and its attractions, 20 minutes by car from the spectacular beach at Yzerfontein, and an hour’s easy drive from Cape Town.
Accommodation: 2 double rooms, each with a comfy queen-sized bed, beautiful bed-linen, heater and electric blanket for chilly nights, good cupboard and dressing table, and en-suite shower and toilet.
One of the rooms is upstairs in a separate wing with its own entrance. Airy and spacious, it has a view from every window -of vineyards, wheatfields, the village or the garden – full DSTV, a fridge, and semi-self-catering facilities.
The other room is in the main house but still very private, all on one level, with a door giving access to the veranda and a window overlooking our lovely indigenous garden.
Only the bird calls will wake you here!

Disa Lodge is situated in the heart of the old village. Walk to the village restaurants or to Evita se Perron.
The Victorian house is one of the first to be built in Darling. Loving restoration shows the beautiful wooden floors and ceilings.
We offer 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two rooms each have a private entrance from a veranda. There is a large stoep with a built-in braai. It’s a great place to eat breakfast. Cool off in the plunge pool in the heat of summer.
Springtime brings the wild flower show, not to be missed. 5 wineries nearby offer tasting of top quality wines.
Also available: Disa Cottage, a separate self-catering cottage on the property sleeping 2-4 people. See ‘Self-catering in the Village’ for more info.

Maison de L’amour offers the experience of staying in a small private country residence more like home from home - where we have three double guest bedrooms all with bathrooms on suite, two of the rooms are inside the main house and a luxury double room located outside the main house ("Gardener’s Cottage").
Maison de L’amour is located at 21 Mount Pleasant Street in Darling. The setting of Maison de L’amour is decorated in a French Provence style and overlooks a small garden yet picturesque and tranquil where our guests will have their breakfast and can unwind and feel completely relaxed.
We can also offer different dining experiences on some of the evenings of the week (depending on numbers and bookings) and our home-cooked dinners will prove to be popular with our guests for our take on the South African and European classics and the use of fresh seasonal ingredients. We can offer three-course candle-lit dinners in the picturesque garden on Saturdays, and we also offer the use of our Braai area, plunge pool to the guests should they feel like catering for themselves or they could privately book us to prepare and cater for their personal needs at an extra charge per head.
We are situated in the heart of Darling, and we are within an easy reach of the famous Darling winery’s, (this includes Cloof, Darling Cellars, Groote Post, Ormonde Vineyards, Withington Wines.
Guests can explore the little village on foot, browse through antiques and collectables and visit Darling’s biggest attraction the famous Evita Se Perron show which is not to be missed! In season we are within easy distance of the most beautiful flowers in the flower season.
Maison de L' amour is owned and run by Nina and Derek, a couple full of fun and laughter, who love entertaining their guests.
